Elastic mounts for sub-chassis, differentials and other elements of the driveline are elastic fittings which mount onto the sub-chassis and which act as a joint between these pre-mounted chassis and structural elements of the body.

The modular assembly that prevails in vehicle sub-system designs makes these components play an increasingly important role in the vehicle. They also significantly contribute to the comfort as they form an additional filter for the body against vibrations on the road.
